Subscription Terms

Who you buy from
Web subscriptions are sold by DollarMates.ca. If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google is the seller and handles billing, cancellation and refunds under its own terms; these terms still describe what your plan includes.
Prices
Plans are billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before you pay, plus applicable taxes (GST/HST, QST, PST or US sales tax). There are no other fees: no set-up, activation or cancellation fees. A yearly plan costs 10 times the monthly price.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year and you are charged the then-current price for the next period, plus tax, until you cancel. At checkout you agree to automatic renewal separately from the Terms of Service.
Notices we send
A confirmation with these terms right after you buy; for yearly plans, a reminder 35 days before each renewal; for monthly plans, a yearly reminder on your sign-up anniversary; at least 25 days' notice before a price change applies to you; and a confirmation when you cancel. These are service messages, sent even if you do not get marketing email.
Cancelling
Web plans: go to Settings → Billing & Subscription → Cancel subscription. One click to confirm, no retention offers. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to the Free plan; nothing is deleted. Changed your mind? Choose Resume subscription on the same page before the period ends. App Store or Google Play plans: cancel in your device's subscription settings.
Refunds
If you join someone's family while you have a web plan, your plan is cancelled and the unused time refunded pro rata automatically. If we materially reduce what your paid plan includes, you may cancel for a pro-rated refund. App Store and Google Play refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Price changes
We may change prices. A new price applies only from your next renewal after we have told you at least 25 days ahead, and you can cancel before it applies.
